Rescue Me ID: 15-06-04-00708Ghost (male)

Parson Russell Terrier    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This is a courtesy listing for a sweet friendly dog named Ghost, Ghost has been well taken care of by a loving family. He just was at the vet this week is current on all vaccines and had his teeth cleaned. You will get all of the vet paperwork they have at the time of adoption. He is neutered and ready to adopt. We do not support buying dogs from breeders till all the homeless have a forever home, but these nice people have taken good care of him and have agreed to allow us donate the adoption fee to a needy cause. We are thinking approx $220-$250 adoption fee for Ghost. Ghost is a very affectionate little guy who needs a lot of ... (Read More)attention. We're hoping to find him a loving home which will enjoy an active little dog. As typical for his breed he is not a low energy dog. He also does bark, so even though he's likely just under 20 pounds and a good size for an apartment he wouldn't be a good apartment dog because he does bark. He currently is living with a lab and they play well together. Ghost is a Parson Russell terrier. He comes from a breeding kennel in Oregon, and is named Ghost because he is almost entirely pure white. He was born in July 2009, and has been living at home since he was just a small pup. He loves running and playing outdoors, and is sociable with other dogs when he goes to the community dog park for exercise. He is friendly and inquisitive, and does well around house guests. We have no small children or cats at home, and we do not know how he will behave with them. He is completely up to date on all his shots and vaccinations, and has recently had his teeth cleaned. Even though a courtesy listing you will fill out an application for adoption and you can have a meet and greet . We hope we can adopt him quickly so we don't have to find a foster for him. To read about this breed of dog you an go here http://www.prtaa.org/ Please email gingerdog@live.com and we will forward an application. The adoption fee for Ghost is negotiable somewhat. It will be donated to: Pets in Transition to spay and neuter a few dogs in need. They are in TX where millions of strays die on the streets and a million dogs /year are PTS in TX shelters http://petsintransition.org/?page_id=2 (Less)
