    Parson Russell Terrier Dogs can make good pets in New Mexico if they match your IifestyIe. The Parson Russell Terrier is also known as the Jack Russell Terrier. The Parson Russell Terrier is a witty, highly intelligent and trainable working dog. Parson Russells are cheeky, entertaining pets. Parson Russells do well with considerate children but do not like to be teased. Parson Russells need a dominant owner experienced in firm obedience training. The Parson Russell Terrier has strong hunting instincts and should not be trusted with small animals. This scrappy Terrier may fight with dogs with which he is not socialized from an early age. Parson Russells can live in an apartment but need plenty of exercise and do best with a yard. Parson Russells can climb and dig under fences, and need to be kept on a leash when walking.
