Meet Bert & Ernie. These two little guys were found in a rural fishing area, abandoned in a crate, duct tape shut, hidden in some bushes. It was their fate that a couple took an unplanned fishing trip that day and happened to stumble across them. The two had manage to bust out of their crate, but then stayed near it. The couple rounded them up and took them home. Contacted a friend that knew of me and my rescue efforts.. At the end of the day, Bert & Ernie were safe in my home. Boney/skinny and flea infested, 2 baths barely removed the stench of them obviously living their lives in a crate and neglected.. At first the boys were very shy, as ... (Read More)they seemed to have very little socialization.. but with in a day, I couldn't keep them off my heals. They seem to now be craving the love and touch of a human. Bert & Ernie are inseparable and I'd like to adopt them out that way.. They simply enjoy my fenced yard and what seems to be freedom for them.. I'd like to find the same for them, so that they can sunbath and get their paws wet in the snow. Bert & Ernie are roughly 2yrs old. Bert that weighed 14lbs when I received him, now just under 20lbs... and Ernie, weighing 9lbs, is now just over 13lbs. We are working on many things..sit, taking treats and they are even learning potty training via doggy door. Bert & Ernie are a joy to be around and I'm looking for the perfect loving home for them...someone that will continue working with them and loving them to pieces. I am currently taking apps. Home check is a must and their adoption fee will be the receipt of their vetting. They both have been neutered, utd on their vaccinations, rabies, heartworm tested and are micro chipped. Their story can be followed at my facebook page at and or please call for more info. 330.316.9857 thank you (Less)
