Hi I'm Sierra! I am a 3 year old, Doxie, Parson Terrior Mix that weights about 27lbs. I used to live in a house with 11 other dogs, as I came from a hoarding case. I had been used as breeder dog. I've now been spayed and I'm so happy that I don't have to live that life anymore. I'm very shy, timid and scared. My foster mom brought me home and I was super anxious. I kind of darted away from them at first, because even though they looked nice I just didn't know if I could trust them. I slowly came around a little bit. But then the best thing ever happened. They introduced me one by one to the other dogs in the house! I was sooo excited. I could tell the way that the dogs interacted with my new foster family that they were really good people and would take great care of me, till I find my forever home. My tail came up and I started wagging and just all around had more confidence. By the end of the night I was giving them kisses and curling up in their laps to get lots of belly rubs and nap. Now that I know they are ok, I feel so much better. Because of this I'd do really well in a household where I have a 4 legged companion. But I also will get very attached to you, and am happy to even just lay by your feet. But cuddling up with you on the couch, or in bed is the best. I don't really care about cats. They have one here too. I just ignore her, even though she did hiss at me. I am housetrained, and also have gone on a pee pad that my foster brother uses sometimes. I just love attention and can't wait to find my forever family. My foster mom says she'd keep me herself, since she's falling in love with me already! But there are other dogs she needs to help! And she tells me there is a wonderful home out there that is just waiting for me! Is it yours? If so I really can't wait to meet you!
