The Parson Russell Terrier has strong hunting instincts and should not be trusted with small animals. This scrappy Terrier may fight with dogs with which he is not socialized from an early age. Parson Russells can live in an apartment but need plenty of exercise and do best with a yard. Parson Russells can climb and dig under fences, and need to be kept on a leash when walking.
