This scrappy Terrier may fight with dogs with which he is not socialized from an early age. Parson Russells can live in an apartment but need plenty of exercise and do best with a yard. Parson Russells can climb and dig under fences, and need to be kept on a leash when walking.

A Parson Russell Terrier saved five New Zealand children from being attacked by two pit bulls in 2007.
